Finance Analysis Manager

Role Overview: You will be part of Microsoft's Accounting Operations team, a highly motivated and dynamic finance professional. Your role will involve supporting the oversight and management of Financial Close, External Audit, and Statutory Financial Statements. You will play a critical role in analyzing key financial information, identifying inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and developing automated accounting applications. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to achieve business objectives and support key strategic projects and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze key financial information, map finance processes, and make recommendations for improvements. - Identify opportunities for developing automated accounting applications and coordinate information requirements. - Support the preparation of annual financial statements and audit coordination. - Manage relationships with external service providers for accurate reporting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. - Implement and maintain master data management solutions for finance and accounting operations. - Engage in continuous learning of Microsoft services, product, infrastructure, operations, and go-to-market. Qualifications: - Accounting Qualification and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years of accounting, controllership, or finance experience OR Master's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years of accounting, controllership, or finance experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint. - Experience with ERP systems, with SAP being desirable. - Strong analytics and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with Machine Learning and applications. - Excellent organizational and project management skills. - Strong oral and written communication skills for complex analysis. - Passion for Finance Digital Transformation and commitment to continuous growth. - Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to accomplish tasks resourcefully. - Experience with data management and governance.
