The role demands strong financial control, compliance, and operational finance expertise suited to the hospitality/co-living business model.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain end-to-end books of accounts for multiple co-living properties.
• Ensure accurate recording of revenue, expenses, accruals, and provisions.
• Handle bank, vendor, and inter-property reconciliations.

2. MIS, Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, cash flow, and occupancy-linked financial reports.
• Analyze property-wise profitability, cost trends, and operational margins.
• Support management with financial insights for expansion and optimization.

3. Compliance & Statutory Matters

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other applicable laws.
• Handle GST filings for rental income and related services.
• Coordinate with consultants and authorities for audits, assessments, and notices.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting for properties and HO.
• Monitor budget vs. actuals and highlight deviations.
• Implement cost-control initiatives for utilities, maintenance, vendors, and operations.

5. Receivables, Payables & Revenue Tracking

• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and aging of receivables.
• Ensure timely vendor payments and service provider settlements.

Track occupancy-linked revenues and reconcile with property management data.

6. Audit & Finalization

• Coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Prepare schedules, working papers, and audit documentation.
• Support timely finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.

7. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Manage daily cash flow and fund requirements.
• Plan working capital needs for property operations and expansions.
• Coordinate with banks for payments, facilities, and reconciliations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Mandatory: CA (Chartered Accountant) exams completed
• Bachelors degree in Commerce or Finance.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in co-living, hospitality, real estate, service industry or other industry profiles are also welcome.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
