Job Description

Job Description: As a Finance & Accounts Associate at our company in Guwahati, you will play a crucial role in the finance and accounting department. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records. - Supporting the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other tax returns to ensure compliance with local regulations. - Participating in month-end and year-end closing activities, such as journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. - Performing data analysis using Excel, including creating pivot tables, charts, and formulas for financial decision-making. - Conducting financial data entry and validation across various financial systems. - Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes, offering analysis and insights. - Collaborating with team members on ad-hoc finance and accounting projects. Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have: - A Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. - Strong knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and basic taxation rules. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic financial functions/formulas. - Excellent analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail. - Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks. - Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.,
