Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and technically inclined Junior Water Treatment Service Technician to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for an individual who is eager to build a career in the water treatment industry. The successful candidate will assist senior engineers in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various water treatment systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance for our clients. Key Responsibilities Service and Maintenance: Assist in performing routine preventative maintenance (PM) on water treatment equipment, including softeners, reverse osmosis (RO) systems, deionization (DI) units, filters, and chemical feed pumps. Conduct basic field testing of water quality parameters (e.g., pH, conductivity, hardness, chlorine). Support the calibration and repair of instrumentation and control systems. Installation and Commissioning: Help with the physical installation and piping of new water treatment equipment at client sites. Assist in the start-up and commissioning of new systems, including initial chemical charging and operational checks. Troubleshooting and Support: Shadow and support senior staff in diagnosing and resolving operational issues or breakdowns in water treatment plants. Assist in the inventory management of spare parts and chemicals on the service vehicle. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate service records and logs detailing work performed, parts used, and system status. Compile basic service reports for client review and internal documentation. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies on client sites. Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a technical or field service role.
