Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a technically sound and proactive Service Engineer with hands-on experience in analytical instruments, preferably used in pharmaceutical production environments. The ideal candidate should be passionate about field service, eager to learn, and capable of supporting installations, calibrations, and breakdowns with professionalism and commitment. Key Responsibilities: Calibration of field instruments such as NVPC, LPC, GIT, FIT, etc. Installation and commissioning of instruments at pharma production sites Attend breakdown calls and provide technical support onsite Assist senior engineers in project execution and service delivery Travel extensively across client locations in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala Prepare service and calibration reports Key Skills Required: Strong technical knowledge of analytical/field instruments Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and GMP regulations Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Self-motivated and eager to work independently on field assignments Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Independently conduct NVPC and VPC calibrations within 3 months Understand and explain working principles of all instruments within 3 months Exhibit knowledge of pharma industry compliance and quality standards Working Conditions: Frequent travel by bus, train, or bike (within 100 km radius) Must carry calibration kits during site visits Work during late evenings, weekends, or holidays when critical service is required Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred Freshers with strong technical knowledge and willingness to travel may also apply Benefits: On-the-job training and support Opportunity to work with reputed pharma companies Travel reimbursement and service allowance Learning and growth in pharma service industry Interested candidates can share resume at careers@shreedhargroup.com Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
