XEOTEC E-SERVICES (P) Limited is seeking highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultants to expand our solar energy solutions across all districts of Assam. This is a contractual, commission-based role ideal for individuals with a proven track record in the solar energy sector.
Job Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to drive the adoption of Solar Energy solutions (e.g., rooftop, commercial, and industrial solar installations) across the assigned region by executing the full sales cycle:
Lead Generation: Actively scout, research, and generate high-quality leads for solar energy installation projects across commercial, residential, and industrial segments in all districts of Assam.
Customer Engagement: Conduct initial site visits, feasibility assessments, and consultations with potential clients to understand their energy needs and present tailored solar solutions.
Presentation & Proposal: Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, detailing system specifications, projected savings, return on investment (ROI), and financing options.
Negotiation & Closure: Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure profitable sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
Liaison: Work closely with the technical and installation teams to ensure seamless project handoff and maintain client satisfaction.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on local government subsidies, policies, and market trends related to solar energy in the Northeast Region.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Solar Industry Expertise is a MUST: Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in solar energy installation or related B2B/B2C services is essential.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in solar energy lead generation, site surveying, and contract closing.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and the installation process.
Local Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the geography, demographics, and key business/residential clusters within the districts of Assam.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Assamese, Bengali and Hindi.
Self-Driven: Must be a highly motivated self-starter, capable of working independently and managing time effectively in a field-based, commission-driven environment.
Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and own reliable transportation for extensive travel across the region.
