Job Description

I. Core Sales Activities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential customers.
  • Client Engagement & Presentations:
  • Arranging and conducting meetings with potential and existing clients.
  • Delivering compelling sales presentations and product/service demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Understanding customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
  • Negotiation & Closing Deals:
  • Negotiating terms of agreements, pricing, and contracts to close sales effectively.
  • Addressing objections and concerns from clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Working towards and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly/annual sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
  • Forecasting sales and evaluating the effectiveness of sales models.

II. Relationship Management:

  • Building & Maintaining Relationships:
  • Establishing and nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients.
  • Regularly following up with clients to address concerns, identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact between the company and its clients.
  • Customer Service & Support:
  • Handling customer inquiries, questions, and complaints effectively.
  • Providing after-sales support to ensure a positive customer experience.

III. Market & Product Knowledge:

  • Product Expertise:
  • Maintaining excellent and up-to-date knowledge of the company's products/services.
  • Educating customers on the benefits and value proposition of offerings.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Gathering market and customer information to provide feedback to internal teams (e.g., product development, marketing).

IV. Reporting & Administration:

  • Record Keeping:
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
  • Updating customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) regularly.
  • Reporting:
  • Preparing and submitting regular reports on sales performance, achievements, and challenges to management.
  • Analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement.

V. Collaboration & Professional Development:

  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborating with the sales team and other internal departments (marketing, product development, customer service, operations) to align strategies and achieve overall company goals.
  • Sharing best practices with colleagues.
  • Continuous Learning:
  • Attending meetings, sales events, and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest developments in sales techniques and industry trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,867.74 - ₹18,500.00 per month
