As a Field Intern in Guwahati, Assam, you will be responsible for conducting frequent field visits within the city and nearby regions. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - **Campaign Coordination:** - Assist in coordinating between the internal team and stakeholders like volunteers, party workers, and community members. - Support grassroots campaign activities aligned with project goals. - **Data Collection & Reporting:** - Gather and organize field data from outreach and campaign efforts. - Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and basic dashboards using Excel and PowerPoint. - **Stakeholder Engagement:** - Coordinate with local influencers, volunteers, and community leaders for events and outreach programs. - Support door-to-door campaigns, community meets, and visibility drives. - **Strategic Support:** - Implement campaign strategies on the ground and ensure timely task completion. - Follow campaign work plans and report progress and challenges. - **Research & Analysis:** - Conduct primary field research and basic political analysis. - Compile findings into actionable summaries. - **Team Coordination:** - Collaborate with operations, data, and media teams for campaign support. - Ensure fieldwork aligns with the central campaign team's direction. - **Operational Assistance:** - Document daily field activities. - Manage logistical requirements for fieldwork and campaign events. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Students or recent graduates from reputable institutions (Bachelors or Masters level). - Prior experience in internships, volunteering, or fieldwork is advantageous. - Ability to work in fast-paced, field-intensive settings. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Interest in social impact, public policy, or political campaigns. You must be based in or willing to relocate to Guwahati. A personal laptop, a smartphone, and a two-wheeler with valid driving documents are essential for field mobility. Language proficiency in English and Assamese/Bengali (Hindi preferred) is required.
