Our journey began with animal welfare, but today it extends to uplifting communities through education and skill-building, restoring cleanliness and environmental harmony, and supporting temples to run smoothly as pillars of Sanatan Dharma — all guided by compassion and dharmic values.

Role Overview

As a Face-to-Face Fundraiser, you will represent the Foundation at public locations, engage donors in meaningful conversations, and secure financial pledges to sustain our programs. Your interpersonal skills will directly impact our capacity to provide lifesaving care.

Key Responsibilities

• Approach potential supporters at high-footfall venues (malls, markets, events) with empathy and professionalism
• Clearly communicate Dashrath Putra’s mission, programs, and impact
• Build rapport, listen to donor concerns, and address questions about how contributions are used
• Secure one-time and recurring donations via digital forms and pledge cards
• Record donor information accurately and follow up as needed
• Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly fundraising targets
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to optimize outreach strategies

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in face-to-face fundraising, sales, or customer-facing roles (NGO or retail experience preferred)
• Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills
• High emotional intelligence; ability to connect with diverse audiences
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in outdoor/public settings
• Basic digital literacy: familiar with mobile tablets or smartphones for data entry
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
