Job Description

As a Field Application Engineer at TE Connectivity Digital Data Networks Business Unit, you will have the opportunity to partner with focused customers in the High Performance Communication and Wireless, Networking, Compute, and IoT markets. You will serve as a technical resource for customers" engineers and program/platform managers, providing technical expertise, design work, product application information, and general support. Working within an established and supportive team, you will have the autonomy to explore new opportunities and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Identify opportunities for new product development based on customer applications - Conduct Voice of the Customer (VOC) sessions to determine requirements for new development and design - Contribute to developing new technologies and drive projects in collaboration with internal teams - Act as the customer interface and internal core team leader during the execution of new product development projects - Understand existing product portfolios for customer applications - Explore opportunities for offering system-level solutions beyond traditional connectivity products - Familiarize with industry standards applicable to customers and their products - Address technical complaints from customers and collaborate with engineering and quality teams for solutions - Identify future industry trends and collaborate with Product Management to develop product and technology roadmaps - Work closely with the Account Manager to translate opportunities into technical and commercial wins - Be accountable for pipeline growth across responsible customers Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in a technical field required (Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred) - Connectivity experience and understanding of electronics manufacturing processes desired - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to organize and prioritize - Prior experience working directly with customers in a technical setting (at least 3-6 years) - Knowledge of general manufacturing processes like stamping, molding, plating, and automated product assembly desired - Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional listening skills - Ability to work as a global member of a customer-facing team and with global internal project teams - Analytical and structured thinking with a creative ability to pursue new business opportunities - Adaptability to changing priorities, strategy, and business conditions - Ability and willingness to travel as required - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and regional languages - Proactive and independent approach to driving, developing, growing, and winning opportunities Location: North/West India (preferred Delhi/Pune) Please note that successful candidates will have a strong ability to understand and structure complex situations and convert them into actionable plans moving forward.,
