Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Guest Service & Experience Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner. Take orders and ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest complaints and feedback efficiently and professionally. Ensure all guests receive personalized and attentive service. Team Supervision & Coordination Supervise waitstaff and assign duties and table sections. Train and guide junior staff on service standards, etiquette, and food knowledge. Conduct daily briefings to communicate menu changes, specials, and service instructions. Monitor grooming, discipline, and conduct of team members. Operations & Floor Management Ensure the dining area is clean, well-set, and properly maintained before, during, and after service. Coordinate with the kitchen for timely food delivery and special requests. Maintain a smooth workflow between kitchen and service areas. Supervise table settings, food presentation, and clearance operations. Sales & Upselling Promote menu items, beverages, and specials to enhance guest experience and revenue. Suggest wine pairings and upsell premium products when appropriate. Monitor and control wastage, breakage, and inventory usage. Cash & Billing Check and verify guest bills before presenting. Ensure proper cash/card transactions and billing accuracy. Assist in closing checks and end-of-day cash handling if required. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards. Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in F&B service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Good communication skills in English (and local language, if applicable). Knowledge of food, beverages, and service etiquette. Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
