Fashion Photographer

A Fashion Photographer will capture and refine images for fashion campaigns, magazines, and e-commerce, requiring a keen eye for aesthetics, technical skills with cameras and editing software, and strong collaboration with designers, models, and clients. Key responsibilities include planning and executing photoshoots, managing lighting and backdrops, directing models, editing and retouching images to meet client specifications, and self-promotion to build a portfolio and secure work in the competitive Indian fashion market. 

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualization & Planning:

   Discussing shoot concepts and brand requirements with clients, designers, and stylists to align with the brand's vision. 

• Execution:

   Scouting locations, arranging equipment, lighting, props, and backgrounds to create the desired atmosphere. 

• Photography:

   Directing models to capture compelling poses, focusing on presenting clothing and accessories effectively. 

• Editing:

   Using professional software to edit and retouch images, adjusting colors, and enhancing the final product for publication. 

• Collaboration:

   Working closely with models, designers, stylists, hair stylists, and makeup artists to achieve the desired look and feel. 

Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency:

   Mastery of camera equipment, lenses, lighting, and image editing software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom. 

• Artistic Vision:

   A creative and artistic eye for detail, composition, and the ability to tell a story through images. 

• Interpersonal Skills:

   Strong communication and client relationship management skills to understand needs and build rapport with clients and creative teams. 

• Industry Knowledge:

   Up-to-date awareness of fashion trends, styles, and the competitive landscape of the Indian fashion industry. 

• Professionalism:

   Reliability, strong time management, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
