Role Description (Fresher)

We are searching for a talented, passionate, self-motivated Fashion Designer with interest in art & product development to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of La Paz's collections. You will be responsible for working alongside the creative director and other designers for the entire design process, from the initial concept sketch to the final production-ready styles. We are looking for a doer and not just someone who talks about doing, a multi-tasker. This is an on-site role located in Gurugram.

Qualifications

• Fashion Design
• Understanding of Knitwear and Textiles Design
• Good illustration skills
• Print Making
• Experience with embroidery and fitting
• Tech pack making
• Passion for fashion and creative design
• Knowledge of sustainable and conscious fashion practices
• Attention to detail and strong visual sense
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant education or training in fashion design or related field

Responsibilities:

-      Conduct thorough trend research 

-      Develop ideas along with sketches 

-      Create tech packs

-      Source high-quality raw materials 

-      create samples

-      monitor production

Qualifications:

-      0- 1 year experience as a Fashion Designer

-      Good understanding in Knitwear Design

-      Proven portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of design principles, sketching abilities, and knowledge of swimwear and resort wear.

-      Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

-      A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality sustainable garments.
