Fashion Designer Intern

As a Fashion Design Intern at Etehas, a sustainable lifestyle brand blending traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern silhouettes, you will have the opportunity to contribute to creating timeless, ethical, and high-quality fashion. You will play a key role in designing Western silhouettes with a modern heritage aesthetic, supporting fabric selection, prototyping, and fittings to ensure top-notch quality. Your responsibilities will also include incorporating sustainable fashion practices in design and material choices, collaborating with artisans and production teams, and researching global and Indian fashion trends to contribute innovative, market-ready designs. Additionally, you will work on fabric manipulation and finishing details. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of textiles and garment construction, along with an interest in sustainable and ethical fashion. Your ability to collaborate with teams, from artisans to production, will be crucial. A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and innovation is essential. While pursuing or having completed a degree in Fashion Design is preferred, it is not mandatory.
