Fashion Designer Intern

Role Overview: You will be joining our design team as a Fashion Designer Intern at Shamoor Media Group, a leading digital marketing firm in Gurgaon. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the fashion industry, from concept development to final product. You will assist in various design processes, fabric research, sketching, and sample development, while gaining insights into working in a professional fashion environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in developing design concepts, sketches, and mood boards. - Research fashion trends, colors, fabrics, trims, and market competitors. - Support the design team in fabric and material sourcing. - Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions for seasonal collections. - Assist in preparing technical drawings, specs, and design sheets. - Coordinate with sampling teams and follow up on sample development. - Maintain design files, swatches, and collection archives. - Provide backstage or production support during fashion shows or shoots if required. Qualifications Required: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design or a related field. - Strong sketching and illustration skills, whether manual or digital. - Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW. - Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and embellishments. - Creative, detail-oriented, and updated with the latest fashion trends. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.,
