Conceptualize and forecast trends for each season, staying abreast of industry developments.

Develop styles based on trend research and celebrity fashion sensibilities.

Present and discuss designs with celebrities and their styling teams, ensuring alignment with their preferences.

Create sketches based on seasonal concepts and render them with appropriate colors and prints.

Maintain line sheets for seasonal range plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Create detailed tech packs for designs, illustrating design and construction details with precision.

Collaborate with the sourcing team and vendors to manage the sample development process, focusing on effective design execution.

Work closely with the buying and sourcing teams to meet timely seasonal calendar deadlines.

Collaborate with internal and external teams for fabric, print, and surface design follow-up and approvals.

Conduct fitting sessions in collaboration with the tech team to ensure garment fit and quality.

Work with the catalog team to coordinate styling for catalog shoots.

Conceptualize and assist in new marketing shoots for each season/collection in collaboration with the marketing team, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with marketing objectives.

Market Research and Trend Research - Travel across locations to do the research and make reports, Silhouette and Print Banks for the upcoming seasons.

Involve in the Offline Sales Events to study and understand the customer needs.

Competitor Analysis - Present Quarterly Reports

Revenue Alignment:

Understanding the Brand/Business needs and designing styles that align to the Brand and generate revenue as per the Business Goals.

Planning the whole Design process and strictly adhering to the Design deadlines.

Ability to coordinate independently with the Celeb, and ensure the styles are designed and closed per the Business needs.

Constantly work towards Business growth by regularly taking and assessing the Style-wise business report from the Buyer.

Should be of Business First mindset.

Requirements:

Demonstrates high-level aesthetics and creative ability with a strong understanding of active lifestyle and sports culture.

Well-rounded 3-4 years of experience as a Womens Ethnic wear/Fusion Wear Designer for Retail Brands.

Strong organizational skills and highly detail-oriented

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills - verbal, written, and visual

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and calendars

Ability to handle work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to influence various stakeholders and engage with senior leadership

High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, MS Office

Should be willing to work from our office in Bangalore.

Should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Fashion Design from NIFT.
