Role Overview:We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Farm Manager to oversee day-to-day farm operations, supervise field staff, and ensure optimal productivity and quality of agricultural outputs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in crop planning, agri-input management, and farm mechanization. Key Responsibilities:Plan and manage seasonal crop cycles (selection, sowing, cultivation, harvesting). Supervise field staff, laborers, and machinery operators. Monitor crop health, irrigation schedules, pest/disease control, and fertilization programs. Coordinate procurement and use of agri-inputs like seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides. Maintain records of inputs, expenses, production, and yield. Ensure compliance with agricultural standards and sustainability practices. Operate and maintain farm equipment and tools. Provide regular reports on farm performance to management. Collaborate with agri-scientists, suppliers, and local agri-departments if needed. Required Qualifications & Skills:B.Sc. in Agriculture or related field (mandatory). Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on farm management experience. Strong knowledge of modern farming techniques and agri-business. Familiarity with crop protection, irrigation systems, soil health, and farm mechanization. Leadership and people management skills. Proficient in record-keeping and basic farm-related documentation. Computer literate (MS Excel, mobile apps related to farm operations). Knowledge of local language(s) (Punjabi/Haryanvi) is a strong advantage. Preferred Traits:Problem-solving mindset and practical decision-making ability. Willingness to live on or near the farm site.
