Factory Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards. This role involves managing a team of workers, coordinating production schedules, and maintaining equipment and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily factory operations and production activities.
• Monitor workforce productivity and ensure adherence to production targets, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Assign tasks and set goals for production workers and machine operators.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and work areas.
• Report and resolve production or personnel issues to maintain optimal operations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate factory workers; provide feedback and support development.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, attendance, and incidents.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or degree in industrial management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using manufacturing software and MS Office Suite.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Working Conditions:

• Physical work in a factory setting with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and machinery.
• May involve standing for long periods, lifting moderate loads, and shift work including nights/weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
