As an HR Manager for a garment factory located in Dhamnod, 80 kms from Indore, you will play a crucial role in managing the entire HR and IR functions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring consistent manpower supply, developing a disciplined workforce, maintaining harmonious industrial relations, and driving engagement and compliance within the factory operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manpower Planning & Deployment - Ensure daily availability of skilled and unskilled manpower as per production requirements. - Plan and execute worker recruitment campaigns in nearby villages to build a sustainable manpower pipeline. - Monitor daily attendance, overtime, and productivity for optimizing workforce utilization. - Workforce Industrialization & Counselling - Drive initiatives to build factory discipline, punctuality, quality consciousness, and teamwork among the workforce. - Conduct regular counselling sessions for workers on attendance, behavior, and performance standards. - Support supervisors in instilling professional work habits and shop-floor discipline. - Contractor & Vendor Management - Identify and manage contractors for manpower supply while ensuring adherence to statutory and ethical standards. - Conduct regular audits of contractor records to ensure compliance with PF, ESI, and CLRA regulations. - Build long-term partnerships with manpower vendors to minimize absenteeism and attrition. - Industrial Relations (IR) - Maintain harmonious industrial relations by engaging proactively with workers and their representatives. - Handle grievances, counselling, and disciplinary actions fairly and consistently. - Liaise with labour departments, factory inspectors, and local authorities for compliance and statutory inspections. - HR Operations & Compliance - Ensure 100% compliance with various labour laws such as Factories Act, CLRA, PF, ESI, Bonus, and Gratuity. - Maintain up-to-date records and statutory documentation. - Training & Development - Identify training needs and coordinate technical and behavioural training for workers and staff. - Conduct safety and compliance training in coordination with EHS teams. - Employee Engagement & Welfare - Implement welfare initiatives such as canteen, transport, and medical facilities. - Drive engagement programs and celebrate milestones to boost worker motivation and retention. - Ensure workplace safety, hygiene, and welfare provisions are in compliance with legal requirements. **Qualification & Experience:** - MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification. - 8-12 years of experience in HR within garment/apparel manufacturing or similar industries. - Proven experience in manpower sourcing, IR, and factory HR operations. In this role, you are expected to have strong knowledge of industrial relations and labour law compliance, hands-on experience in large workforce management, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to recruit workers through field campaigns and community outreach.
