Role Summary

The Soft Services Facilities Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all soft services operations within the facility, including housekeeping, pest control, waste management, landscaping, pantry services, and front-office support. The role ensures a clean, safe, hygienic, and client-friendly environment while maintaining service quality standards and vendor performance.


🛠 Key Responsibilities

1. Housekeeping & Cleaning Management

Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across the premises.

Develop cleaning schedules and SOPs for various areas (offices, washrooms, cafeteria, common areas, etc.).

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure service quality and compliance with standards.

2. Vendor & Manpower Management

· Coordinate with service providers/vendors for housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, and pantry services.

· Monitor manpower deployment, attendance, grooming, and performance.

· Ensure vendor compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.

· Plan and manage staff training for safety, hygiene, and service excellence.

3. Pantry, Front Office & Support Services

· Oversee pantry operations, ensuring cleanliness, inventory control, and timely service.

· Supervise front-office/reception services to ensure smooth visitor management and hospitality.

· Ensure office support staff (office boys, mailroom, etc.) deliver services efficiently.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance

· Implement and monitor hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

· Support periodic internal and external audits (ISO, client audits, etc.).

· Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per environmental regulations.
