Job Description

Facilities Project Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and manage project schedules and timelines for relocation efforts, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., IT, HR, Operations) and external vendors (e.g., movers, equipment providers) to ensure a smooth transition.
Identify potential risks associated with relocation and develop mitigation strategies.
Oversee the budgeting and resource allocation for the move.
Track project progress and provide regular status updates to the Director of Facilities and other stakeholders.
Organize and lead project meetings with all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and progress.
Ensure that all safety and regulatory guidelines are followed during the move process.
Manage documentation and reporting related to the move, ensuring that all steps are properly recorded and communicated.
Plan, schedule and craft change communications throughout the project.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in project management, ideally in construction management and knowledgeable in construction management best practices.
Proven track record of managing large-scale moves or relocation projects.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and adjust to shifting deadlines.
Knowledge of facilities management and/or office space planning is a plus.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Excel, or Smartsheet).
PMP certification is a plus but not required.
