Key Responsibilities: - Manage the quality of service delivery in Investment accounting and reporting - Execute FAAS solutions using the Global service delivery framework, including Financial Accounting and Reporting Excellence, Accounting Processes, Regulation, Governance, Financing, and Remediation and Readiness - Demonstrate expertise in Investment and Derivative products, Front office and back-office trade of derivative products, and sector-specific knowledge of Insurance, Banking, and Assets/Wealth Management - Participate in proposal development, support the development of new service offerings, and ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork - Apply independent and objective professional judgment in applying accounting standards, including regulatory requirements - Support delivery of accounting and regulatory change projects, engagement mobilization, preparation of materials, and coordination of activities between small teams - Contribute to business development activities, growth of the practice, and development of technical skills - Manage the sharing of knowledge, experience, and lessons learned within the team Qualifications Required: - Good understanding of IFRS/US/UK GAAP and International auditing standards - Good understanding of Indian accounting and auditing standards - Confidence in dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity in a project environment - Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills - Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary - Working experience in Securities and derivatives accounting, Technical accounting research and advice, Financial statement close process support, and Transaction accounting and reporting Additional Details: EY exists to build a better working world, aiding in creating long-term value for clients, people, and society while establishing trust in the capital markets.
