About Us

We are a growing company in the sawn timber trade, specializing in high-quality wood products sourced globally and exported to key international markets. We are now looking for a dynamic Export Manager to join our Mumbai team and drive sales in Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow international export sales of sawn timber products
  • Identify and build relationships with buyers and distributors across target regions
  • Travel regularly for client meetings, trade shows, and on-ground sales (Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia)
  • Prepare persuasive sales presentations, quotations, and product documentation
  • Negotiate pricing and payment terms confidently and effectively
  • Maintain customer relationships through regular follow-ups and exceptional service
  • Ensure compliance with export documentation, INCOTERMS, and customs regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely production, packaging, and shipping
  • Provide market insights and competitive analysis to inform strategy

Requirements

  • 3-8 years of experience in export sales / international marketing (preferably in wood, building materials, or similar B2B sectors)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); strong email etiquette and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Aggressive and persuasive marketing skills with a natural flair for closing deals
  • Willingness to travel internationally and build face-to-face relationships with buyers
  • Eagerness to learn technical product knowledge and market dynamics
  • Strong understanding of sales pipelines, lead generation, and follow-ups
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai (Nariman Point office)
