Job Summary:

Exports Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • International Market Development:

    • Identify and develop new export markets and clients.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities in target regions (Dubai, Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, etc.).
    • Attend international trade shows and exhibitions to promote products.
  • Sales and Business Development:

    • Achieve export sales targets and grow the companys international footprint.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with international buyers and distributors.
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Documentation and Compliance:

    • Prepare and manage all export-related documentation including invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, certificate of origin, etc.
    • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and export control policies.
    • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Logistics and Coordination:

    • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery of export orders.
    • Optimize shipping methods and ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
    • Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or documentation errors.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

    • Maintain records of sales, shipment data, and customer feedback.
    • Provide monthly reports on export performance, market feedback, and competitor activity.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of export procedures, INCOTERMS, customs clearance, and international logistics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple markets and high-volume transactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and export documentation software/tools.
  • Familiarity with government export incentive schemes (like MEIS, RoDTEP).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum

    5–10 years

    of experience in exports, preferably in electronics or mobile accessories.
  • Prior experience working with international clients/distributors is a must.
