· Prepare pre and post shipment documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures.
· Maintain export and import documents files
· Co-ordinate with bank for closing import export transactions and getting Realization Certificate
Export:
· Prepare, Process and maintain below documents for export Pre-Shipment;
§ Export Invoice
§ Packing List
§ COA
§ GSP if applicable
§ BL draft and other required documents
· Send export invoice to CHA and Factory
· Coordinate with Factory and get confirmation on weight
· Send BL draft to CHA
· Apply online for container seal
· Prepare, process and maintain below documents for exports Post-Shipment;
§ Commercial Invoice
§ Packing List
§ Insurance Certificate
§ COA
§ COO if applicable
§ GSP if applicable
§ Bill of Lading
§ Fumigation Certificate and other required documents
· Prepare Bank Covering Letter and Bank document set
· Online checking of BRC for the payment received
· Submit documents to bank on receipt of Bill of Lading for onward delivery to client
· Prepare documents as per Bank and Customer requirement
· Follow up with Bank for the Reference Number of documents filed
· Ensure correct documentation for exports is prepared and maintained in a structured manner with Banking Reference No
· Follow up with Factory, Customs for duty drawback receivables
Import:
· Planning shipment and coordination with overseas suppliers for import
· Prepare LC Application and other required documents for LC and submit original documents to bank
· Assist/ forward all necessary information and documentation to Customs Broker in order to clear shipments
· Coordinating with CHA as well as Freight Forwarders for Import Shipment and ensure timely delivery of material to Factory
Job Requirements
Degree(s) &Certificate(s)
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, International Trade, or related
field preferred. Or Diploma in Export Import Management
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in end to end Export Import process and documentation
Knowledge
Must be proficient in M S Office and Email
Must be good in handling digital transactions
Must have a thorough knowledge of export import documentation
Knowledge of custom duties & insurance
Knowledge of Indian and Foreign Trade Policies
Major Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong attention to details, organization skills
