Expert Manager, Scientific Communications

As an Expert Content Manager, Scientific Communications at the Scientific Communications organization within the Global Medical Organization, your role is crucial in delivering high-quality innovative scientific, publications, and medical content aligned with the designated Therapeutic Area/product. You will be responsible for tailoring content to specific audiences globally through impactful formats and relevant channels. Reporting to a Sr. Manager in India, you will collaborate cross-functionally and globally to execute tactical Scientific Communication plans for US and global regions to support Medical and overall product strategies. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Develop and deliver high-quality, accurate, and innovative scientific and medical content tailored to specific audiences globally via impactful formats and relevant channels such as DSE/digital/MSL materials, FAQs, and Medical Information Letters. - Draft and deliver high-quality and accurate publications for scientific congresses and journals. - Address complex Medical Information inquiries and escalations. - Manage workflows and approvals through appropriate processes and systems. - Maintain strong partnerships with the Scientific Communication Operations team to support standardization of processes, optimize systems, drive continuous improvement, and track impactful KPIs. - Help drive the execution of deliverables as part of a dynamic scientific communication plan. - Ensure compliance with relevant Amgen enterprise and functional SOPs, external guidelines, and regulatory requirements. - Develop and influence strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues. - Serve as a content coach for teams to enhance quality, standards, and practice. **Basic Qualifications and Experience:** - Doctorate degree with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Masters degree/MBBS with 12+ years of experience OR Bachelors degree with 10 years of experience OR Associates degree with 15 years of experience. - MD, PharmD, PhD, or DO with minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in Scientific, Publications, and Medical content development. - Prior experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within the biopharmaceutical industry. - Understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization process, regulatory guidelines, and clinical data analysis. - Demonstrated track record of strategic execution in a matrix environment. - Ability to work effectively in teams and across corporate functions. **Preferred Skills:** - Knowledge of emerging technologies in scientific communications. - Strong computer and database skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products.
