Experience Designer

As an Experience Designer at the company, you will be responsible for designing narrative-driven experiences for the website, ensuring that product pages are transformed into engaging stories that connect emotionally with users. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing narrative-driven experiences for the website, including product detail pages, discovery journeys, and educational flows. - Collaborating with content strategists, copywriters, and visual designers to create a cohesive customer story that aligns with brand voice, business goals, and user needs. - Mapping journeys and structuring content using storytelling frameworks to guide users through the experience. - Translating insights into story arcs that lead users from arrival to action. - Prototyping new storytelling formats such as modules, animations, and interactivity to enhance user engagement. - Advocating for the emotional journey of users in addition to their logical one. - Ensuring consistency and cohesion across all touchpoints to create purposeful and connected interactions. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 8-10 years of experience in UX, product, or web design roles with a strong emphasis on storytelling. - A portfolio showcasing narrative thinking in digital experiences and the ability to create compelling user journeys. - Deep understanding of UX principles and a willingness to innovate when necessary. - Strong collaboration skills, particularly when working with writers, marketers, and developers. - Experience in designing for large-scale websites, preferably with e-commerce or brand storytelling elements. - Bonus points for familiarity with motion design, microinteractions, or interactive storytelling formats. Qualifications required for this role include a degree in UX Design, HCI, or Cognitive Psychology, preferably from a premier school like IIT or NID.
