Job Description

As an Executive/Analyst-Global Logistics at our company located in Kharadi, Pune, you will play a crucial role in managing various aspects of sales order-purchase order processes, coordinating with different teams, handling documentation for North America shipments, supporting customer services, and engaging in other logistics-related activities. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Support Sales by managing customer orders, creating sales order-purchase order (SOPO), and collaborating with Sales, inventory, and Planning teams to analyze and place orders according to business requirements. - Assist marketing in implementing customer complaints resolution. - Generate standard reports on Open Orders, closed orders, and Inventory availability, and post transactions on SAP. - Resolve issues related to sales order/purchase order to ensure smooth shipments. - Check Import/Export custom documents (shipment details, CTH, duties, etc.) for North America shipments and maintain the data. - Highlight concerns in EXIM documents for resolution and work towards solutions. In terms of EXIM responsibilities, you will be expected to: - Manage documentation retention of all commercial documents for North America shipments. - Follow up for missing documents from vendors promptly to prevent logistics delays. - Perform goods receipt of 3rd party invoices in SAP. - Verify commercial invoices as per US Customs entries. - Engage in export planning and operations. When it comes to Customer Services, your duties will include: - Supporting Sales with managing customer orders, document creation, logistics planning and execution, shipment tracking, and returns management. - Creating standard reports on Open Orders, Inventory availability, and posting transactions on SAP. - Creating Sales Contracts, coordinating with logistics and warehouse, tracking shipments, and informing customers about sales orders. - Assisting Key Account Managers in allocating shortage material and creating dispatches accordingly. - Generating standard reports on Inventory, open order status for the perusal of planning and sales team. - Creating return orders, documentation, coordinating with logistics and warehouse for all customer returns. Additionally, you will be involved in toller activities, such as: - Handling shipment transactions like STO (Stock transfer), Production posting, BOL creation, PGI & PGR for stock, etc. - Analyzing stock and input from UPL NAM warehouse & third party and processing transactions in SAP. Moreover, you may be required to: - Provide support to any other Logistics function. - Work on Improvement projects and process streamline. - Engage in MIS & Data mining and take initiatives for improvement within the system & process. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Strong Organizational Skills - Strong Follow-up Skills - Proficiency in SAP and intermediate Excel - Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills - International Logistics Experience (a plus) - Logistics/EXIM knowledge This is a full-time position, and prior experience in Export/Import is preferred.
