Executive/ Sr. Executive- Purchase

As a Procurement Manager in this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing sourcing and purchasing strategies to ensure the smooth operation of the procurement process. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, planning, and implementing sourcing and purchasing strategies to meet the company's procurement needs effectively. - Aligning the production team for the next two to three production plans to ensure seamless operations. - Coordinating with vendors for vendor audits and maintaining strong vendor relationships. - Working and coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments for efficient procurement processes. - Verifying compliance and certification of vendors to guarantee quality and reliability. - Ensuring the quality of supplied material meets defined parameters and maintaining vendor ratings. - Purchasing the correct material as per Product Data Requirement (PDR) specifications. - Maintaining a database of approved suppliers with minimum and maximum price lists. - Managing contracts with suppliers and negotiating favorable pricing terms. - Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to facilitate smooth procurement operations. - Searching and sourcing potential suppliers and vendors to expand the supplier base. - Tracking, measuring, and analyzing company expenditures to optimize procurement processes. Experience in the nutraceutical industry, as well as expertise in designing, planning, and implementing sourcing and purchasing strategies, negotiating lower pricing, are preferred for this role.
