Executive/Senior Executive-Business Development-Key Accounts

Role & responsibilities:

  1. Market Development:

    Identify and analyze potential markets to expand business footprint and tap into new business opportunities.
  2. Onboarding & Relationship Management:

    Identify, onboard, and nurture long-term relationships with potential semi-wholesalers and fruit buyers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  3. Sales Ownership:

    Manage the complete sales processfrom Sales Order (SO) generation to final deliveryensuring timely execution and high service quality.
  4. Revenue Growth:

    Drive sales performance by achieving monthly and quarterly targets, negotiating effectively, and ensuring timely payment collections.
  5. Market Research & Analysis:

    Conduct detailed market studies on pricing, demand, and competition to refine sales strategies and identify emerging trends.
  6. Field Operations:

    Conduct daily market visits in mapped territories to monitor performance, engage with customers, and identify on-ground opportunities.
  7. Cross-Functional Coordination:

    Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery, quality maintenance, and demand fulfillment.
  8. Data-Driven Strategy:

    Utilize data insights to optimize pricing, forecast demand, and improve profitability across key accounts and market segments.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Graduate/MBA (preferably in Agriculture, Business Management, or Marketing).
  • 4–8 years of experience in B2B sales, key account management, or agri-trading (fruits/vegetables domain preferred).
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing trends, and wholesale trade operations.
  • Proven ability to identify, onboard, and manage channel partners or semi-wholesalers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable with daily field visits and hands-on market engagement.
