  • Client Name: Australian Global Pharma specialist in Pharmaceutical & Medical Device

  • Position: Executive Pharmacovigilance

  • Department: Pharmacovigilance

  • Location: Bangalore

Job Profile:

  • Perform case processing of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) from clinical trials, post-marketing, & literature sources.
  • Conduct data entry, coding, narrative writing, and medical assessment of safety cases in safety databases.
  • Ensure compliance with timelines and quality standards as per global regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, CDSCO).
  • Support signal detection, risk assessment, & preparation of aggregate reports (PBRERs/PSURs).
  • Participate in the review and update of Pharmacovigilance System Master File (PSMF) & Risk Management Plans (RMPs).
  • Conduct literature searches for adverse event identification and safety signal evaluation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for safety-related queries and follow-up information.
  • Support audit and inspection readiness for pharmacovigilance activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacovigilance guidelines and regulatory changes.

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Male candidate would be preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with safety databases (e.g., Argus, ARISg, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of ICH, GVP, and local regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Experience in signal management and aggregate report preparation.
  • Exposure to global PV operations and regulatory submissions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and literature screening tools.
