Executive – Scholarship Department

Reports To: Head – Student Section

Job Purpose :

To oversee and execute all activities related to student scholarship schemes, ensuring efficient

processing, compliance with policies, and timely disbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations of all scholarship schemes (internal and external).
• Guide students and parents about eligibility criteria, documentation, and timelines.
• Scrutinize and verify scholarship applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with government agencies, banks, and other external bodies for scholarship-related processes.
• Prepare MIS reports, summaries, and periodic status updates for management.
• Ensure timely disbursement of scholarship funds and maintain accurate records.
• Draft official correspondence, circulars, and notices regarding scholarships.
• Handle queries and grievances related to scholarship matters.
• Assist in policy formulation and process improvements for scholarship administration.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and financial data.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data management.
• Familiarity with online scholarship portals and government schemes (preferred).
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work under deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (preferably in Administration/Management).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in scholarship administration, student welfare, or educational administration.
