Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Air Waybills (AWBs) accurately and ensure delivery to customers within time of finalization.
• Coordinate with airlines for booking confirmation, carting requests, and space allocation.
• Prepare and submit FHL (Freight House List) accurately and on time for each shipment.
• Maintain effective communication with customers to coordinate shipment details and resolve any issues.
• Book shipments with airlines immediately after rate confirmation and share booking details with customers within the stipulated timeline.
• Prepare accurate AWB drafts in coordination with customers for verification and approval.
• Liaise with GMR (airport terminal operator), airlines, transporters, CHAs, and customers to ensure smooth cargo movement and documentation flow.
• Ensure timely dispatch of pre-alerts to customers and overseas agents with complete and accurate shipment details.
• Complete all assigned export operational tasks such as carting, consol filing, and documentation submission within the required turnaround time.
  

Required Experience

• Strong understanding of air export procedures and documentation.
• Excellent co-ordination and follow-up skills with stakeholders such as airlines, CHAs, transporters, and terminal operators.
• Ability to manage time-critical tasks and perform effectively under pressure.
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in preparing AWBs and handling all export-related documentation.
• Strong commitment to meeting coordination and follow-up skills timelines and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of GMR and airport terminal processes will be an added advantage.
