Job Purpose:

To be courteous to patients and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

Answer calls in 2 Rings.
Be well informed of hospital hierarchy and key contact staff in every department. Departmental locations and its respective functions.
Give complete and correct information to all (staff/visitors/patients/ attendants).
Keep the list of doctors / staff/ functions of every department
Learn to speak in English.
Do not keep calls on hold for more than 30 seconds.
Use of words like Thank you for Holding Your call is being connected please be on line the concerned person is busy right now please leave a message for him with us
Proper grooming as per hospital uniform policy.
Always put a smile on face. As when you smile your voice smiles
Greeting the staffseniorspatient attendants and visitors.
Always thank patients for giving us an opportunity to serve them.
If any patient takes the appointment for consultants then before confirming the appointment please speak with the concerned consultants.
All consultants are at the same platform there is no senior and junior among them.
Maintain Hospital premises and property.
Maintain silence in work areas
Do not get involved in any form of antisocial practices. Do not accept gifts from patients/ attendant.
Do not divulge any information that is required to be kept confidential.
Disciplinepunctuality and regularity at work.
Deal with everyone with respect and integrity.
Pilferage / theft in any form will amount to strict disciplinary action.
Do not hide any information /wrongs from your immediate seniors.
Use of abusive words and language is strictly prohibited.

You are expected to obey your seniors and any request in favor of the hospital services it is your moral responsibility to follow it and help management in smooth functioning of the department

Candidate Requirements:

Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the related departmental personnel.
Ability to plan & organize ones work schedule effectively.
Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel.
Affinity to work in team.
Enthusiasm.

Open-mindedness.
