Job Description

You will be joining IRIS Business as an Executive - IT Helpdesk located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. As a part of our IT team, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to end-users, manage and maintain the end-user computing environment, and ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems and related infrastructure. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of desktop hardware, software, and networking principles are essential for this role. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing timely technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues via various channels. - Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices. - Managing Windows operating systems and potentially Linux and macOS. - Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and managing various desktop applications. - Performing basic hardware troubleshooting, coordinating warranty repairs, and managing hardware inventory. - Assisting with user account management, network connectivity troubleshooting, and ensuring security compliance. - Creating and maintaining documentation for common issues, solutions, and desktop configurations. - Utilizing remote desktop support tools to diagnose and resolve user issues efficiently. - Collaborating with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex issues and implement IT projects. - Maintaining accurate records of IT assets and staying updated on the latest desktop technologies and best practices. Qualifications and Skills required: - Any graduate or equivalent with an IT Hardware Networking Diploma. - 2-3 years of proven experience as a Desktop Engineer, IT Support Specialist, or a similar role. - Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Workspace applications. - Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware issues, basic networking concepts, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and remote support tools. - Knowledge of antivirus software and endpoint security measures. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
