Job Description

Location: Chembur, Mumbai

Job Description:

Shipping line coordination: placing booking, VGM, SI filing, Form 13, BL release, related activities
Ensure VGM and shipping instruction submitted within stipulated time
Ensure BL released and sent to shipper within 2 working days after vessel sailing
Internal coordination with transport & ops team
Internal coordination with CHA team
Internal coordination with accounts team
Raise fund requests and book vendor invoices
Submit client billing as per sales/ops instructions
Client coordination: daily updates, BL approvals, payment follow-up after execution
Documentation: prepare BL drafts, verify invoice, packing list, BLs, and related documents with shipping data
ERP: open job number, upload all job-related data (invoice, packing list, SI, BL, billing, etc.)
ERP: raise fund requests for vendor/client invoices
ERP: update correct credit period for clients/vendors
ERP: close jobs upon completion
Prepare and share Daily Shipment Report (DSR) internally
