Role Description:


Copywriters develop and implement innovative strategies, campaigns, and content plans for clients. They define creative tactics, such as visuals and messaging, to engage target audiences, and research industry trends to inform their strategies. Collaboration with designers, copywriters, and client servicing teams is crucial, requiring strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.


Qualifications:


·     Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

·     Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in copywriting and content creation, preferably within a creative agency or corporate environment.

·     Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of copywriting samples across different mediums and industries.


Key Responsibilities:

Taking Briefs and Clarifying Objectives:

·     Collaborate with clients and internal teams to obtain clear and concise creative briefs aligned with the client's objectives.

·     Actively participate in client meetings to understand the problem statement by asking relevant questions.

Concept Development:

·     Take end-to-end responsibility for creating pitch decks, from receiving the client brief to conducting research and developing a creative strategy.

·     Ideate and develop creative concepts and overarching themes that effectively communicate the client's message and resonate with the target audience.

·     Brainstorm with team members to generate creative ideas for campaigns and pitches, and make decisions on creative direction.

Campaign Execution:

·     Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including designers, video editors, and account managers, to develop cohesive and effective campaigns.

·     Oversee the execution of creative projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality standards.

·     Proofread content to maintain the highest level of business language in line with the brand's voice and tone.

·     Ensure the copy/content adheres to brand guidelines and tone of voice.

·     Continuously strive to elevate the quality of content and bring freshness to each attempt.

·     Stay up-to-date with emerging global communication trends and best practices in the creative industry, incorporating this knowledge into creative strategies and recommendations.

·     Be responsible for the overall quality of copy/content and creatives delivered by maintaining set standards.


Other Responsibilities:

·     Create case studies, blogs, and articles showcasing the agency’s best work and practices.

·     Develop segment-specific portfolios, credential decks, videos, and showreels for the agency.

·     Formulate and implement a strategy for thought leadership.

·     Create and implement a content plan for the agency’s social media channels.

·     Strategize and oversee promotion and digital marketing for agency and it’s venture/s.

·     Write compelling award applications to secure recognition for the agency’s outstanding work.
