Executive Chef


Location: Delicia Restaurant

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: ₹70,000 – ₹100,000 per month

Delicia Restaurant is a premier dining destination known for authentic flavors and exceptional hospitality. We take pride in offering a rich culinary journey and are expanding our Kerala cuisine offerings. We’re looking for a passionate, experienced Executive Chef with deep knowledge of Kerala’s culinary traditions and a flair for innovation.


Responsibilities


Develop and regularly update a Kerala cuisine-centric menu with seasonal and regional ingredients.

Lead and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high performance, morale, and adherence to standards.

Maintain top-quality food taste, consistency, and presentation.

Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and vendor relationships—especially sourcing authentic Kerala spices and ingredients.

Train kitchen staff on Kerala cooking techniques, hygiene standards, and plating styles.

Monitor food and labor costs, ensuring kitchen efficiency and profitability.

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Collaborate with front-of-house staff to gather guest feedback and deliver a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications


Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine-dining or high-end casual restaurant.

Expertise in Kerala cuisine, with deep knowledge of traditional and contemporary preparations.

Culinary degree or relevant certification (preferred).

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English; proficiency in Malayalam is a plus.
