Qualification: Graduate
Experience: Minimum 3 years in CGHS billing or similar healthcare claims role
Shift Timings: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CGHS Billing Executive to manage and streamline the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) billing process for both IPD and OPD cases. The ideal candidate will ensure timely submission and follow-up of claims while maintaining accuracy and compliance with CGHS protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Planning & Execution: Plan daily tasks and targets, including uploading and follow-up of IPD/OPD claims.
• Claims Management: Oversee end-to-end claims submission and processing, ensuring timely and error-free handling.
• Team Training: Train the billing and front desk teams on best practices for accurate and efficient bill uploading.
• Liaison with CGHS Office: Visit the CGHS Corporate Office bi-weekly to resolve queries and follow up on pending collections.
• Credit Note & Patient Coordination: Address credit note issues related to IPD admissions through patient counselling and coordination with consultants.
• Query Management: Handle and resolve billing-related queries within a turnaround time of 15 days.
• Reporting: Maintain and submit daily reports on file uploads and query responses to the Unit Head and Reporting Manager.
• SOP Compliance: Ensure adherence to SOPs while dealing with CGHS Corporate bodies and follow up on similar lines.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of CGHS billing procedures (IPD/OPD).
• Proficiency in claim submission portals and hospital billing systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and guide junior staff.
• Effective time management and reporting skills.
