Job Summary

Business Development Head

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Acquisition & Market Research

• Assist in identifying potential

  redevelopment opportunities

  across Mumbai.
• Conduct market research and collect data on property owners, society preferences, and neighborhood potential.
  
• Prepare preliminary

  project profiles

  for internal evaluation.
• Track ongoing

  SRA, MHADA, and other redevelopment projects

  in the area.

2. Feasibility Studies & Report Generation

• Assist in conducting

  technical and financial feasibility studies

  for redevelopment projects.
• Collect relevant data such as land area, building coverage, FSI/TDR potential, and current construction conditions.
  
• Prepare feasibility reports including

  estimated project costs, expected returns, and regulatory compliance requirements (including DCPR 2034)

  .
• Support decision-making by presenting analysis to the Business Development Head.
  

3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Schedule and assist in meetings with

  society members, redevelopment committees, and property owners

  .
• Maintain follow-ups and communication with society representatives, legal teams, architects, and municipal authorities.
  
• Coordinate internal teams for information collection, documentation, and approvals.
  

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain

  project acquisition files, meeting minutes, and correspondence

  .
• Assist in drafting

  presentations, project briefs, and internal reports

  for senior management.
• Track project acquisition progress and update dashboards for the Business Development Head.
  

5. Process Support

• Support the Business Development Head in defining and streamlining

  project acquisition processes

  .
• Ensure timely follow-up on required

  approvals, consent letters, and legal documentation

  .
• Monitor

  milestones for project acquisition

  and update the management team regularly.

Skills & Competencies Required

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of

  real estate development, SRA/MHADA redevelopment, and property laws in Mumbai

  .
• Knowledge of

  DCPR 2034, FSI/TDR, building regulations

  is an advantage.
• Proficiency in

  MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  for reporting and presentations.
• Ability to prepare

  feasibility reports, presentations, and project summaries

  .

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with society members, authorities, and internal teams.
  
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple project follow-ups simultaneously.
  

Qualifications

• Graduate in

  Civil Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Real Estate, or Commerce/Business Administration

  .
• Additional certifications in

  real estate development, project management, or property law

  are a plus.

Experience

• 1–4 years

  in real estate development, project coordination, or business development support.
• Exposure to

  redevelopment projects in Mumbai

  is preferred.
• Prior experience in

  project feasibility analysis, acquisition, or market research

  is advantageous.
