Job Description

As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing customer inquiries and requirements to determine the scope of work and pricing parameters. Your role will involve preparing accurate and competitive quotations based on customer specifications, pricing guidelines, and company policies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for quotation preparation will be essential. You will conduct research and market analysis to determine pricing trends, competitive landscape, and cost optimization opportunities. Maintaining and updating a comprehensive database of pricing information, product catalogues, and vendor details will also be part of your responsibilities. Reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions with customers to ensure alignment between their requirements and company capabilities will be crucial. In addition, you will coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission of quotations and adherence to customer deadlines. Following up with customers to address queries, provide clarification on quotations, and negotiate terms as required will be essential. Monitoring and tracking the status of quotations, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping, will also be part of your duties. Collaboration with the sales team to provide support during contract negotiations and assist with the conversion of quotations into sales orders will be important for driving business success. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Preferred experience in quotation preparation, pricing analysis, or related roles within a sales or procurement environment will be beneficial. Strong numerical and analytical skills, along with the ability to work with complex pricing structures and financial data, are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, are required. Moreover, strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, knowledge of industry-specific pricing practices, market dynamics, and relevant regulatory requirements, are important for success in this role. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment are also key qualities that the ideal candidate should possess.,
