Event Coordinator

As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing events at the convention center. Your responsibilities will include liaising with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless event execution in alignment with client expectations and venue standards. Your strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills will be essential in delivering exceptional event experiences. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from booking confirmation to post-event follow-up. - Conduct site tours and pre-event meetings with clients to review event requirements, logistics, and floor plans. - Prepare detailed event orders and communicate specifications to all relevant departments. - Coordinate event setup, execution, and teardown in collaboration with operations staff and vendors. - Ensure all events comply with safety, security, and venue regulations. - Maintain professionalism and responsiveness in client and vendor interactions. - Resolve on-site client concerns promptly and efficiently. - Build relationships with repeat and prospective clients to drive future bookings. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field. - 2 years of event coordination experience, preferably in a convention center, hotel, or large venue. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Familiarity with AV, catering, and facility operations. - Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays according to event schedules. - Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple events concurrently.
