• Lead Build & Validation activities for electric tractor projects from concept to completion.
• Prepare Design Verification Plans (DVP) for 27 HP and 40 HP EV tractors.
• Develop bench-level and field-level test cases for motors, controllers, DC/DC converters, clusters, switches, and other electrical components.
• Understand and apply software architecture for on-road and off-road testing with various implements.
• Execute validation of tractors with different software logics, motor configurations, and battery systems.
• Perform vehicle-level motor testing for Induction and PMSM motors.
• Test battery systems including BMS, LFP chemistry, and cell arrangements.
• Validate MCU functions with different logics and power-limitation strategies.
• Conduct wiring harness endurance and functionality testing at vehicle level.
• Perform charger testing (1-phase & 3-phase; fast & slow charging) at plant and customer sites.
• Test BTMS and MTMS cooling systems with liquid cooling and fan-based setups.
• Use CAN analyzers for data logging, analysis, and ECU flashing.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and application matrices (Plan vs Actual).
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests across various environments.
• Prepare daily testing schedules and maintain tractor testing documentation (hours, FIR, ORC, part updates, CAN data).
• Create RAC reports for failures and participate in ORC meetings with COEs and R&D leadership.
• Perform PTO dynamometer testing for motor performance validation.
• Analyze CAN data logs to diagnose vehicle-level and component-level issues.
• Design and build a breakout testing box for motor controllers (bench + vehicle testing).
• Set up and manage field testing sites across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
• Maintain monthly inventory at plant and site levels.
• Handle manpower and conduct training for junior engineers and drivers.
• Coordinate vendor creation, PR tracking, PO tracking, and payment follow-ups.
• Support RLDA testing for 27 HP tractor at TT.
