Job Description

As a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your role is crucial as you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring the operational efficiency of their IT infrastructure and systems. Your main responsibilities include: - Proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems - Providing first-line support for standard and low-complexity incidents and service requests - Monitoring client infrastructure to identify and address problems and errors promptly - Performing maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes to ensure smooth system operation - Contributing to disaster recovery functions and tests to uphold client data security To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Entry-level experience in troubleshooting and support in security, network, data center, systems, or storage within a medium to large ICT organization - Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes - Proficiency in handling tickets promptly and efficiently using available knowledge articles or provided standard operating procedures (SOPs) - Familiarity with ITSM tools and the ability to plan activities and projects in advance - Strong client-centric approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across different cultures - Proficiency in active listening techniques, maintaining a positive outlook even in pressurized environments Additionally, a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT or Computing is required for this role.
