Position: WTP & ETP OPERATOR

Qualification: Technical Diploma / Diploma / ITI

Experience: 3+ years of experience in ETP / WATER PLANT OPERATION

Key Skills: ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) operator include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, knowledge of chemical handling and wastewater treatment processes, and the ability to operate and maintain ETP equipment. Operators also need good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other plant staff and report concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and Control:

2. Equipment Operation:

Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining various treatment equipment, including pumps, filters, aeration systems, and chemical dosing systems.

Process Control:

They monitor wastewater parameters like pH, temperature, flow rates, and pollutant levels to ensure optimal treatment conditions.

Data Logging:

Accurate records are maintained of all operational data, including sample analysis results, treatment process parameters, and equipment performance.

2. Sampling and Analysis:

Sample Collection:

Operators collect samples of wastewater at various points in the treatment process for analysis.

Testing and Analysis:

They perform routine tests to determine the quality of the in fluent (incoming wastewater) and effluent (treated wastewater).

Quality Assurance:

They ensure that the treated effluent meets the required environmental standards and regulations.

3. Maintenance and Repair:

Routine Maintenance:

Operators perform regular maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

They identify and address equipment malfunctions, performing necessary repairs or coordinating with maintenance personnel.

4. Compliance and Safety:

Regulatory Compliance:Operators adhere to all relevant environmental regulations and standards for wastewater treatment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
