Job Description

Job Title: ETL Tester

YOE:4+ Years

Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Noida

Notice Period: Immediate to 30Days



Mandatory Technical Skills for ETL Testers (with PySpark/Databricks focus)


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Data QA / ETL Testing / Data Engineering QA.

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks (Notebooks, Spark SQL, Delta Lake).

  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.
  • Experience in test automation for data pipelines using PySpark, Python, or other scripting tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms. preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies.
  • Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for data verification.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with data observability tools like Monte Carlo, Great Expectations, or Soda SQL
