Estimation Engineer

SKILLS:

• Job Intake & Verification: Ability to handle job intake, document verification, review all assigned drawings, provide time estimates for completion, validate scope, and verify Simpson & Bolt (S&B) scope.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in technical tools such as Bluebeam (for markups), Excel (for takeoffs, pricing sheets, and job summaries), and Zoho (for schedule and job status updates).
• Estimation Execution: Perform detailed takeoffs including measuring areas and perimeters, conduct Simpson hardware takeoff, validate all parts using Simpson Catalog, calculate strap rolls, convert kit items into individual components, and apply pricing with markup.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure drawings correspond to the job name, note missing sheets, confirm high-priced items marked in Bluebeam, and discuss unclear items with seniors (no assumptions).
• Communication & Coordination: Draft and send final quotes to Project Managers (PMs), obtain General Contractor (GC) information, and communicate with PMs for clarifications or final submissions.
• Workflow Management: Ability to assign jobs to eligible estimators daily, ensure effective workload distribution, check pricing sheets for updates, resolve technical questions, and support estimators on complex projects.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Thorough understanding of construction drawings (including A, S, G sheets) and their indices.
• In-depth knowledge of Simpson product catalogs and hardware specifications.
• Understanding of estimation pricing logic, markup application, and material specifications.
• Familiarity with bid documentation (e.g., ITB cover sheets) and quote templates.
• Awareness of site-specific additions and the importance of notes lists in estimations.
• Working knowledge of Zoho CRM for job tracking and scheduling.
• Understanding of internal processes for job qualification, scheduling, and bidding.

Pay: ₹9,778.81 - ₹15,000.00 per month
