System Administrator (with DevOps Knowledge)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator with DevOps knowledge to manage, monitor, and optimize our IT infrastructure while supporting our DevOps workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system administration (Linux/Windows servers, networking, security, backups) and working knowledge of DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automation, and cloud platforms.

You will be responsible for ensuring system stability, scalability, and security, while also collaborating with development teams to streamline deployment and monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration:
• Install, configure, and maintain servers (Linux/Windows).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system security policies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches/updates.
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Maintain network infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
• DevOps & Automation:
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software release and deployment processes.
• Cloud & Virtualization:
• Administer cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean).
• Manage virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox).
• Optimize cost, performance, and scalability in hybrid/multi-cloud setups.
• Monitoring & Security:
• Implement monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK stack).
• Ensure system compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Perform log analysis and incident response.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patching.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams for smooth releases.
• Document system configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to team members when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,121.23 - ₹48,415.65 per month
