Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Tendering & Estimation

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work for data center projects.
Prepare accurate cost estimates including civil, MEP, architectural, and specialized systems (HVAC, Electrical, PHE, Firefighting, ELV).
Develop detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and pricing sheets.
Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
Assist in risk analysis and identify scope gaps in tender documents.

2. Vendor & Subcontractor Management

Float enquiries, obtain quotations, and negotiate with vendors/subcontractors.
Evaluate vendor offers technically and commercially to finalize competitive pricing.
Maintain and update database of supplier rates, market prices, and benchmarks.

3. Coordination & Documentation

Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams for accurate inputs.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for submission within deadlines.
Support post-tender clarifications, client negotiations, and handover to execution team.
Maintain proper documentation of estimates, assumptions, and correspondence.

4. Market & Cost Intelligence

Track industry trends, material price fluctuations, and competitor practices.
Regularly update unit rates and productivity norms for data center construction projects.
