Estimate Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Analyzing project documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Budget Management: Developing and maintaining project budgets, monitoring costs, and identifying potential cost overruns.
• Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks and uncertainties that could impact project costs and developing mitigation strategies.
• Feasibility Studies: Evaluating the financial viability of projects based on cost estimates and market analysis.
• Vendor Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.
• Reporting: Preparing and presenting cost estimates, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.
• Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope and cost estimates.
• Cost Control: Implementing and monitoring cost control systems to track project expenditures and identify areas for cost optimization.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree: A bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical) is typically required.
• Cost Estimation Experience: Prior experience in cost estimation, preferably in a relevant industry, is often necessary.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for analyzing project requirements and developing accurate cost estimates.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate with various stakeholders and present cost information effectively.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software tools, such as CAD software and cost estimation software, is often required.
• Attention to Detail: The ability to pay close attention to detail is crucial for ensuring accuracy in cost estimates and other project documentation.
• Project Management Skills: Knowledge of project management principles and practices is helpful for managing project budgets and schedules.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
